About the Founder

Hi, I’m Nick Fontana, the founder of Tutor HQ. Education has always been a part of my life — my mom was a teacher who showed me different ways to study and learn effectively. But truthfully, I wasn’t always a strong student. I struggled a lot in school and often felt stuck, just like many kids do today.

What changed my path was having the right mentor — someone who listened, understood my challenges, and gave me strategies that actually worked. That experience shaped how I approach tutoring now. At Tutor HQ, I don’t just teach; I connect with students, meet them where they are, and help them build the confidence to succeed.

I know what it feels like to fall behind, and I know the difference the right support can make. My mission is simple: to give students the same kind of guidance and encouragement that once helped me.
